project in HTML to get the look and feel of new websites that we were investing our time and money in www.pawnbroker.com and www.b2btraders.net in Reno, NV as an internship and later as a part-time employee.

Created VB Applications for startup internet company, www.pawnbroker.com and www.b2btraders.net in Reno, NV as an internship: and Later as a part time employee.

Created wireless communication system for Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Reno, NV as a class project: The wireless communication system involved networking Hand-held computers to servers that would keep track of Jackpot hits.

two Visual Basic full-fledged software: One a tax software the other for a mock credit card company. Numerous other ones, approximately 6 softwares a week as class projects towards the CIS Bachelor's Degree.

FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY

Oct 2000 to date at www.Commodity.com as the Director of Technology. I have been responsible for developing Web Applications, for Commodity Resources Corporation. One of the Applications is based on a registration process where new users to the Web Site can register. It involves taking Personal, Financial and Corporate details, bringing it in to an online database and showing it to the receiver and viewer as a PDF file. The other ones include subscribing and unsubscribe to services and products. The system administration and network includes, maintaining the SQL databases, help desk support for other employees in the company, maintaining web server, domain server, email server and database server validating and updating customer records, troubleshooting. It also includes networking into other financial companies to get access to their data and putting them on our site. Helping the Marketing department with web page design support is also an integral part of the job.

    Ø Designing and connecting a new SQL database to the website

Nov 2000 to Jan '01 as Application developer and trainer at Community Services Agency. I was responsible for teaching a class of low-income students. The course included hardware and software installation and maintenance. I was help the director of technology build a website, that is now online at www.csareno.org. My job was to make pages for their streaming videos and audios. One live cam and several other database oriented pages. The database was in PHP.

    My job included:

    Ø Connecting the database to the pages
    Ø Connecting the live camera
    Ø Streaming video into the website
    Ø Teach a class of 30 students to build a computer from scratch

Apr 2000 to Oct 2000 at Pawnbroker.com as a HTML programmer and Application Developer. Responsible for developing dummy websites, to give shape to the newest additions to the company website, for updating content constantly on the site. My position in the company makes me responsible for developing applications in Visual Basic that would later be transformed into Java or Java Scripts to be put on the website.

    My job included:
    Ø Designing new web pages
    Ø Extensive research on the latest web trends
    Ø Content Administration.
    Ø Application designing, implementation.

May 1999 - Mar 2000 The Office of International Students and Scholars at the University of Nevada, Reno as Junior System Administrator and Student Worker. Responsible for a database involving 1000s of records, networking and maintaining 8 terminals that are on a LAN, extensive usage of Unix and Windows (NT, 98 and 95) operating systems, maintaining and developing the web sites for the office (www.unr.edu/oiss), providing consulting regarding computer requirements, hardware jobs (upgrading RAM, installing new Hard Drives and other external and internal drives) and other clerical work as a student worker.

    My job included:
    Ø Designing & Configuring the Network
    Ø Assist users to their various computer needs
    Ø Training Users
    Ø Network Administration.
    Ø Troubleshooting.
    Ø Web site development.

Jan 1997-Jan 1998.   Worked for 'Parental Drugs India Ltd.' as a computer operator and consultant.  The job involved maintaining and entering data into an Accountancy Software Package (Tally 5.01). I was consulted for newer computer requirements also worked and the Hardware person for upgrading computers.

Jan 1996-Jan 1997  Worked for 'Puja Marketing Pvt. Ltd.' in Computer technician. The job involved entering data into a Dbase II database. Developed and maintained database in Lotus 123 and then in a Dbase software.

My responsibility for the above System included: -
Ø Designing of the System.

Ø Testing of the System

Ø Deployment of the System.

Ø Training users.

Additional Information - I have over 21 years of experience in formal painting and drawing, and therefore have a very creative and imaginative outlook, which gives a very good niche in designing WebPages and graphics if and when necessary. I have been the Vice-President of The International Club of the University of Nevada, Reno for two years running, which gives me great communication experience in both business and social backgrounds.
