Dues for the Economics Club are $3 per semester, or $5 per year, though it is not necessary to be dues-paying member to participate in our activities or attend our events. If you are interested in joining the economics honor society, you should read all about it.
Here at UNR, EC/ODE seeks to:
* Inform students of job opportunities with an economics
degree
* Encourage the discussion of the role of economics in
public policy
* Build closer relationships between students and faculty
* Build and maintain relationships between economics
students and alumni
* Recognize outstanding achievement in economics
* Encourage economics research by students, to compete
for the Frank Taussig and Irving Fisher awards,
to publish in The American Economist, and
to present papers at ODE-sponsored meetings at national
and regional conferences.
