Instructor: Dr. Ted Lambert,
tlambert@tmcc.edu
Office: Vista B111 C, Phone: 673-7053
How the class works:
-
This is an Internet class:
there are no lectures to attend, and you
only have to be on campus Once during
the semester for the final.
-
To gain access to the
class, you register yourself on TMCC's
Moodle platform (see above). Once you're
in Moodle, simply clicking on "Math
176" takes you to the class homepage
from which you can access the assignments,
the homework, the class bulletin board,
etc.
- There will be both book work and WebWork
homework assigned for each section.
- A bulletin board and chat room allow you
to communicate with your classmates and
the instructor. If you have problems with
the material, you can ask your classmates
and/or the instructor for help, or go to
the math center.
- This is not a self-paced class:
the final is given on a specific
day.
- To take a class like this, you must
be self-disciplined and possess good time-management
skills. Check out TMCC's E-learning
information page to see if an online
class is right for you.
